This is just a short little post after reading a few articles on different websites about some of the more prominent serious candidates.
Mitt Romney.....Not too sure what to make of this guy yet, I haven't really found much controversy about him.
Barack Obama....My only issue with him really is his freshman status. The guy really lacks any genuine credibility and experience to handle the Presidency, not to mention I don't think Americans find his name too appealing and I just don't see him getting elected. Personally I like the guy.
Rudy Giuliani....Rudy made a pretty good case for himself in the handling of 9/11.
Hillary Clinton......to quote Home Improvement's Al Borland "I don't think so Tim."
She's already comparing herself to John F. Kennedy and she's far from it. *Note to Hillary*: Kennedy didn't purchase real estate in another state in order to seek election. Not to mention it was a matter of time before she decided to play the "female" card.
John Edwards.....Maybe it's just me but this guy seems to me to be pretty fake. He slings a lot of mud while calling for a clean fight. Pretty contradicting.
John McCain seems to be a pretty down the middle guy but at times to me his thinking can lean out there to the extreme side. He's pretty well grounded yet somewhere out of the blue will come something preposterously crazy from this guy.
Dennis Kucinich...goes from the Reverand Al Sharpton to John Kerry to well who knows this time, but need I say more?
Joe Biden....Joe Joe Joe .... I think you revealed a little too much of yourself with those comments and shoddy explanation regarding Senator Obama.
I know there are a few candidates I haven't listed but that's due to my lack of knowledge about them and it wouldn't be fair for me to offer up any sort of opinion on them at this point.
Who I think will make it down to the final 4:
Giuliani/Romney vs. Clinton/Obama
alternately
Giuliani/McCain vs. Clinton/Edwards
I only see Obama staying in the picture in the case Hillary Clinton makes it all the way , he would be then the compliment to get the rest of the votes she needs to seal the deal. Edwards doesn't have the staying power but he could be a sleeper. He could surprise us all...I think....
Giuliani I see as a lock thanks to 9/11 with Romney being his best first choice to compliment his run, Giuliani/McCain may be viewed by the left as far too involved as one being a former Vietnam vet and the other being the 9/11 mayor, thus Romney would be the better fit to balance out Giuliani.
